White Knight could save Balmain Tigers

Fairfax Media is reporting that the troubled Balmain Tigers have apparently found a mystery white knight. Balmain reportedly owe property developer Rozelle Village $8 million, resulting in a number of defaults and a Supreme Court action. An injunction is presently allowing mediation to take place.

Under a current deal, the NRL will cover Balmains cash shortage for the next two years.
