Round 22 of the 2022 AFL season had a total attendance of 318,128 at an average of 35,348 per game, using 57.36% of available capacity. The first 22 rounds of the 2022 AFL season has seen 5.808m attendees through the gates at an average of 30,731 per game using 53% of capacity.

Round 22 of the 2022 NRL season had a total attendance of 128,760 at an average of 16,095, using 51% of available capacity. The first 22 rounds of the 2022 NRL season has seen 2.490m attendees through the gates at an average of 14,825 per game, using 50% of capacity.

Television

R21 of the 2022 AFL season rated 4.186m viewers at an average of 465,000 per game across Seven and Fox.
