Total Revenue of Select Australian Sporting Codes 2000-2021

With little to do and not able to sleep I have compiled  a graph of total revenue for the major codes in Australian Sport. All information is derived from the Annual Reports of the respective bodies.

For some, we were able to go back to 2000 – and further if we wished. For the NRL, the ARLC was only formed in 2011, and prior to that the NRL was a joint operation where the finances arent wholly representative of the league. In Football Australia’s case, Soccer Australia was effectively disbanded and reformed in 2004-2005, and the financial reports that are publicly available go back to 2007. Its worth noting that from 2020 Football Australia removed itself from the operation of the A-leagues and its revenues reflect that.
