AFl Grand Final Ratings up 29% on last year. Metro audience of 2.979m outrated the 2.939m who watched nationally last year. Highest rating grand final since 2016 rated 4.121m and well short of the record 4.443m who watched in 2005.AFl Grand Final Ratings up 29% on last year. Melbourne TV audience was up 57% on last year and was the largest Grand Final tv audience in Melbourne ever.

AFl Grand Final Ratings up in all metro markets compared to 2019 – Melbourne 57%, Brisbane 21%, Sydney by 11%, Adelaide 14%, Perth 17%.

2011 had the last all Victorian AFL Grand Final with Cats/Magpies and rated 1.389m. The 2020 AFL Grand Final with Cats/Tigers rated 1.583m (+13.9%). Cats played both, Tigers/Pies comparable in terms of support

2018 Roosters/Storm Grand Final rated 551,000 in Melbourne. The 2020 Grand Final rated 608,000 in Melbourne (+10.3%), but still less than the 644,000 that watched the Storm/Cowboys in 2017.

Nine reports the biggest live BVOD audience of all time with a Live Average BVOD Audience of 153,000 on 9NOW, peaking at 282,000 (BVOD Reach). This equates to 19.6 Million minutes and 500,000 stream starts.
