Season 2022 – AFL R13 and NRL R14 TV Ratings update

Sorry its been a while, had some work and family stuff going on.

AFL

Up to the close of Rd 13 of the AFL season, the season had been viewed by about ~62m viewers over Seven and Fox at an average of 563,000 per game. The 7 Network is averaging 297,000 per match (all matches), while Fox Grp ave about ~500k.

The AFL has had 16 games pass the million audience mark for the season as of the close of Round 13 (and not expected to add to that in Round 14 either)

NRL

Up to the close of Round 14 of the NRL season, the season had been viewed by about ~66 million people over the course of the season across Nine and Fox at an average of 614,000 per match. The 9 network is averaging 462,000 viewers per game, while Fox Grp averages about ~570,000

The NRL has had 14 games pass the million audience mark in 2022 to the end of Round 14 (with none in Round 15 expected to pass the mark). Plus Origin of course.

note that NRL audiences do not include figures for New Zealand
